Joining your retirement plan at Vanguard is easy. Just follow these steps:

  1. Complete the Salary Reduction Agreement. Complete the form, which you can obtain through your Benefits Office or Human Resources Department, to let your employer know the amount you want deducted from your paycheck, as well as the vendor you wish to invest with.
  2. Choose Vanguard now. pdf Complete this form, which shows Vanguard how to invest your contributions. Return your completed and signed form to the location indicated on the form.
  3. Schedule a one-on-one consultation. You can meet one on one with a Vanguard retirement planning counselor to discuss the financial issues that matter to you and to make sure your investment strategy is on track. View available dates and times at meetvanguard.com.
  4. Review the Vanguard 403(b)(7) Custodial Account Agreement.pdf This document outlines the rules that govern your account. Please keep it for reference.

Once you’ve chosen Vanguard, you should consider signing up for online account access.
